At the Market
At the market one
more day
Carnations, sampling
almond coffee
admiring
A bottle of wine
called 1000
Strawberries and
pineapple, orchids
We don’t have that
much money
But we’re high on
life
A pocket full of
happiness
And that is a whole
lot of dark
amber maple syrup
And pecan halves.
