Tim Youngs – Mugged

Walking along Udristei
someone shoves into my ribs.
Straightaway a pocket-check:
passport, wallet, phone, okay.

Ahead, the suspect pivots;
shouts in Romanian, his arms
outstretched with palms upturned.
The fault is mine. I misjudged.
